It's all about the guaranteed money. I always say, don't count another man's money. It's not about how much he makes but how much comparable players make. That being said, the holdout was a lose lose battle for him

No kidding! Lynch's hits make Chancellor look like a pussy, and Polamalu had a lot more of an eye and sense for the ball than Chancellor and Thomas.

    Yes sir
Well considering FightnFire thinks Chancellor is HOF bound, we can compare his current contract to current HOF SS's. For example, I'd say Troy Polamalu was in his prime during his contract between 2008-2011 where his salary was $15,000,000. His last contract before he retired was in 2012 I believe and was a 2yr/$11,000,000 contract. Sooooooo

So pathetic. As usual, not content to argue the merits, you insult and attempt to degrade. That's not trash talking for your team, or against someone else's team. That's just being a dick.

I think Bradley Fletcher needs to go... Other than that I think it's ok. They sacked Taylor 8 times and got 3 interceptions - the Bills started coming back in garbage time, indicating the D wasn't playing a full 60 minutes, and I think Belichick will correct that, he's a far better defensive coach than he is offensive. I'd be more concerned if the offense was sputtering, but they're already better than most teams mid-season forms, so... Not too worried.

As usual you follow me around like a puppy dog with nothing better to do. You're trying to bait me at every turn.

I hands down provide the most amount of content in this thread.

    Let's look at some stats...

    Troy Polamalu
    11 year career
    8x Pro Bowl
    5x All pro
    770 Tackles
    32 Interceptions
    3 TD's
    14 forced Fumbles

    Kam Chancellor
    4 year carrer
    3x Pro Bowl
    3X All Pro
    440 Tackles
    8 Interceptions
    6 forced fumbles

Kam is on pace for more All Pro selections, same Pro Bowls, Significantly more tackles, less interceptions, more forced fumbles. If Kam continues his current rate of play he's HOF bound, no doubt.

Also, Millertime... comparing a contract to one from 7 years ago is just silly man.

He's making pro bowls cause of all the Seahawks "fans" that jumped on the bandwagon after Lynch had a couple unreal runs and then voted for Chancellor because they, like you, think he's a lot better than he is...

Back to my original point of calling him greedy... he's a great SS, I don't deny that. But it's the fact that he signed a contract and now wants more money. He's making $28,000,000 over 4 years and playing what I hope to him is the job of his dreams. He gets to play pro football in Seattle and he's got a chance at winning a 2nd superbowl this year and he's worried about how he thinks he deserves more money?? Fucking ridiculous. He could learn a thing or 2 from P. Manning and Brady about taking a pay cut to keep players on the team rather than being GREEDY.

Pro bowl and all pro selections are a popularity contest. Tackles are great, but they don't tell the whole story.

When you watch actual game film to observe each player, Chancellor doesn't compare to Lynch and Polamalu.

NFL players voted him the best SS in the game two years running. It seems like you're in the minority here. Earl and Kam were the top two rated safeties by their peers in 2014-15.

Peers as in team mates or peers as in players around the league?

Minority? Pretty sure a lot of guys agree that Kam is out of line... in fact if you watch any of the NFL Network talks about wether or not he deserves a new contract they say no, he does not. Are you saying that guys who played in the NFL and actually made the HOF don't know what they're talking about?

Besides Kam, their O line hasn't protected Wilson and the lanes aren't opening for Lynch. It's too early to write them off, but barring injuries, Arizona is looking like the top dog again in the NFC west.

Every year the NFL has players rank each other to come up with the top 100. All players have a vote, the results of that vote have Kam as the best SS two years running.

The AP also has Kam as the best SS.

So, media and current players agree.

I'm not talking about his contract, you're trying to split hairs. Those same people that you are referencing say that Kam is underpaid, but that he shouldn't be awarded with a new contract right now.

Again? Since when? Hawks won the NFC west last year and swept Arizona.
