Almost. But like they say, 'almost' only counts with horseshoes and grenades. A win is a win.
Pats played like crap (for them) yesterday; with all of those drops in the first half I was pulling my hair out by halftime. But they readjusted and still came away with the W.

With more than half of the teams in the NFL without a winning record, everybody with a winning record has played a some pushover teams.


Packers/Broncos on Sunday should be interesting though. Personally, I'm expecting Packers by 10, but it's tough to say

 

is it me? or do the pats always have a hard time with the Jets

 

Not always, but they play us hard most of the time. A couple of years ago we destroyed them by like 40 points, but it was a fluke. A lot of rivalry there. Miami always plays us hard too, it seems, even if they're having a losing season. This weeks game will likely be a challenge for us.

Edit- Yesterday's game was interesting, because during the Rex Ryan era they played with a lot of emotion and explosiveness. Yesterday's game they seemed like they were more professional and clinical with their approach.

 

That's division football. Your div opponents know you like no other and play as such. MOST teams have a lot harder time with div opponents than outside div/conf opponents.

That said, the broncos game is interesting. I can make a lucid, logical argument with supporting video from this year for a Packers blowout win, a Broncos blowout win, and everything in between. This is gonna be a slobberknocker of a game.

But since there's not much risk of them going to the SB anytime soon, so the Pats should be all set.

Lol...Bledsoe. I remember that game. He couldn't beat anyone in a Superbowl, let alone Favre at his peak. There's a reason when he hurt himself Belichick decided to stick with a backup QB as starter even after Bledsoe got healthy again.
