    Shrug. Packers have had a good run, though. Favre to Rodgers, you guys have had almost 30 years of a good successful football team.
    And Rodgers is at a mid-point in his career. Barring major injury he's got a lot of good play time left.

    Frankly, I'd say Montana to Young is the only 'absurdly luckier' handoff in modern QB history. I know we're obscenely fortunate.

    But I also remember the days before. Forrest Gregg as a coach. Devine. Lynn Dickey as a quarterback. David Whitehurst. John Hadl. *shudder*

    Absurdly lucky? I guess Bill Walsh was just got lucky for nearly ten years. Drafted Montana when everyone else thought his arm was too weak. Picked up Young in a trade with the Buc's when Montana got hurt. I'd say someone did their homework and had an incredible eye for talent.

    So much for Miami's 'new look'. I'd guess the only teams left on their schedule that have a shot at beating them are the Giants, Denver, and Jets. Everybody else left on their schedule is under .500 (so far) except Philly at 3 and 3.

    The Rams exists to make life hard for the other NFC West teams. They lose in St Louis all the time. No matter how bad the Rams are elsewhere, no matter what the records are....NFC West teams lose at St Louis. Book it, done.

    The NFL swept the Jets locker room for bugs before the game against the Patriots. The Jets did not ask for it to be done. Roger is up to his old tricks again. New England requested that all opposing teams locker rooms be swept for bugs before the games but the NFL refused. New England is worried about teams planting bugs in their own locker rooms, to accuse New England with. Sad times.:confused:
