Yea, it's sad when Brady is a better downfield receiver than Lafell

This game is truly on any given Sunday. I thought the Saints were going to upset Carolina for a while there. The Niners pull it off in OT. Minnesota lays down. It's a crap shoot.

The Eagles did not beat the Patriots, the Patriots lost.
Don't worry Pats fans the Eagles will be at home watching the Pats in the AFC Championship and Super Bowl

It's gonna be the big cat bowl - Bengals versus Panthers.

Aw, who am I kidding? The Red Rocket is still allergic to night games and the post season.

I sort of agree, but I think you gotta give the Eagles credit, sproles had a good game, and Bradford made enough plays. Eagles D line manhandled the Pats O line pretty much all game and got good pressure on Brady. Pats WRs had a hard time getting open, and when they were somewhat open, the Eagles secondary seemed to always make some kind of a play to stop big gains or completions. I'd say the Pats had a bad day, but I think the Eagles certainly "won" the game and deservedly so. Kind of embarrassing, next week will be tough in Houston with the WRs we have. Missing Gronk and Edelman hurts but I think missing Hightower and Lewis is really killing this team. We have no running game, like at all. The play action isn't working because a blitz will just get us a huge loss 75% of the time. Idk, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats lose the AFC Championship, if they even get there.

That Eagles/Pats game played 100 times the Pats win 99 of them. Yes the Eagles made enough plays to win but as a Phila fan this team is very disconcerting. IMO the Pats, seeing the two previous Eagles games, may have overlooked them.
The Eagles offense had only two successful drives. Two tds from special teams and one from defense. I think the Eagles finish the season 5 and 11.

Cam newton is making it hard to not like him.

Everyone knows he gives a kid the football after he scores, whether it's a pass or a run. After one of his TD passes today, the ref got the ball. Cam asked for it back, and the red refused. He threw it to the ball boy. Cam ran to the ball boy to get it, who also tried to keep it from him. He snatched it from the ball boy's hands and ran it over to a kid.

Boy, someone in the Patriots organization is getting fired. The footballs were fully inflated AND the opponents headsets worked last night. Clearly someone wasn't operating at peak Patriot Way. :luvya:

Also: my Steelers curb-stomped the NFL's AARP team! Woohoo!

I wish they'd bench Stone Hands Lafell, but since our best TE, WR, and RB are all injured we don't have any choice but to play him. There's really nothing more frustrating than watching Brady put the ball in his receiver's hands or chest protector and having them drop it anyway.
