Choosing to kick was the right choice. Tough loss, but it doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things, they could afford to burn a game out of the last two.

Kicking off to start OT is never the right choice.

Yeah it is. Pats offense was playing horribly, couldn't put a drive together really at all, and the Jets defense was good. The Pats defense had been playing a lot better, and limited the Jets offense to like thirty total yards in the fourth quarter. Belichick put the game on his defense's shoulders and they blew it. They force the jets 3 and out or even 6 and out, and all they need is a FG to win. Doesn't matter now but, I can see the logic, and it won us the game in OT vs the Broncos in 2013, making Belichick look like a genius. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, that's football. Jets deserved to win anyways, and I'm actually glad they did.

But it's still instant death with a TD.

The idea was that the defense was playing well, and wouldn't allow a touchdown. They had only allowed thirty yards in the last twenty mins of play, it made sense. Defense blew the Pats the game. Sometimes that happens.

If you really want me too I will get on the computer tomorrow and pull up his stats this season and any past seasons. Shall we see where he rates on passes completed, yards allowed or any other stat? I think you just don't like him cause he has had a loud mouth in the past. Or maybe you're a 49ers fan?

Sure, post the stats. I'm no Niners fan, but Sherman is easy to beat on a streak and is only good when he can keep the ball in front of him.

I don't agree with it. I'd rather trust the defense after you have a chance to at least score a FG.

Haha you state the obvious, very good! You sound like a regular Madden. There is a reason Sherman is all pro, voted on by players and is considered a top CB. He doesn't often get beat and is good at shadowing receivers and shutting down big plays. Keep hating all you want, but he has earned that reputation for a reason.

We'll wait for the stats. The guy gets owned by guys like TY. Hilton and Greg Olsen on streaks.

Na, I know we played like shit today. Rams always play us well and we beat ourselves with multiple turnovers today. I just disagree with your opinion on Sherman.

I don't think he sucks by any means. I know he's good. He's just not head and shoulders above everyone else like many think including Sherman himself.

    No, I don't think so.

You say Sherman is over rated and he disagrees and in your mind that makes Seahawks fans butthurt.

Every corner has TD's scored against them. You bring up TY Hilton and Greg Olsen. Hilton had a great game in 2013 against Sherman, Greg Olsen scored when Earl Thomas blew the coverage. Yea Thomas, not Sherman. It looked like he beat Sherman but that wasn't his guy, Sherman peeled off when he saw Olsen running free, was supposed to be Thomas's man. Thomas and Carroll both said as much in the post game pressers.

The fact is, no other corner in the NFL right now gets avoided as much as Sherman. If you bring up 2013 I'll bring up the first game of 2014 when the best QB in the league didn't throw a single ball to Sherman's side of the field. By simply being on the field he takes a 1/3rd of it away.

There's faster corners in the league but there isn't smarter corner, or tougher. He plays the run just as good as he covers. The only other guy in his league is Revis, Petersen is a pussy, Haden is hurt, Harris could get there and Norman is a flash in the pan.. he needs to do it more.

Sherman is continually getting beat on streaks. He plays the ball in front of him very well, but he loves to hold the receiver on hitch and go routes.
