Well even with all that 2012th-man-Carroll's-the-greatest-coach feelgood bullshit they spew up there in that soccer city of yours, the Cardinals did it better in the regular season and won the division. We'll see what happens in the playoffs. I don't think anyone other than Washington is too worried about playing Seattle. A week ago we all watched a 6-win team beat the Seahawks.

I think Jordy Nelson should win MVP. He's at least the MVP of the Packer's team. A-Aron sucks without him.

Good thing it doesn't look like they will be playing Washington then. :)

Rodgers just threw to an open receiver in the end zone. Unfortunately, he forgot what color jersey he was wearing.

Did SF really expect Tomsula to win this year?

No one was going to get that team to the playoffs this season.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I think he was a stop gap... There weren't many coaches on the market to start with, plus they needed a yes man to let Baalke and douchejebyork do whatever they wanted.

Well, hopefully they can find someone they're willing to give at least three years to turn the team around.

There in lies the problem. We still have 2 people in owner/management positions who shouldn't be in those. They need to be gone until a coach can actually control the team like he should.

This. Arizona played better football across 16 games during the season, that's pretty obvious to anyone. The difference is, the Seahawks sorted things out and started really leaning on the throttle leading into the playoffs.

The NFC has three teams (Carolina, Seattle, Arizona) who look really strong now, and Green Bay could always find the magic in the post-season. It'll be one of the top three winning it.

The AFC, by comparison, is a muddle. I mean, the team carrying the most confidence and momentum heading into the playoffs in this division is the freakin' 10-win streak Chiefs. Patriots have looked decidedly not-Patriot recently, the Broncos have a revolving door of "meh" at QB, Steelers are an offense-only team (it's so weird to type that) that might have to start their 3rd string RB, and the Bengals are the Bengals who disturbingly have a better chance of winning in the playoffs WITHOUT Dalton. Oh, and there was an AFC South team I guess.

I think the AFC championship game is going to be Pats-Broncos. The Pats always do well in the playoffs, and the Broncos have that defense. Chiefs may play spoiler (it's already been a rather bizzare season), and the Steelers could make noise if DeAngelo returns.

My superbowl pick is Carolina-New England. With Carolina winning, because I hate the Pats.

I don't think the owners are going anywhere unfortunately. I fear a revolving door of coaches, QB's, and mediocrity may be coming.

    Please, not Shanahan..

"Chip Kelly and Mike Shanahan have both expressed interest in the San Francisco 49ers' vacant head coaching position, according to multiple reports. "

The job became available when 49ers CEO Jed York announced Jim Tomsula's stint in Santa Clara would be a one-season affair on Sunday. The 49ers finished 5-11 this season, capped by a 19-16 overtime victory over the the St. Louis Rams at Levi’s Stadium.
