Roman Gabriel. Before my time. My dad has been a Rams fan for many years. I am more of the Jim (Chrissy)Everett era.

I've disliked Jim Rome ever since that conflict. He was borderline in my book before that.

Piss on the Raiders! They abandoned the Raider Nation in Oakland for Smell-A. Then abandoned the Raider Nation in Smell-A for Oakland. Now they want to do it again. Fu@k'um.

Sure I can. I'm a resident of Oakland. I'm not a Raider fan, but the City gave them a sweetheart deal to come back to Oakland, then ruined the Coliseum for baseball. Now the A's want to leave, as well. Meanwhile, the citizens of Oakland are stuck with the bill.

    Yea.

Dallas is more west than St Louis, yet Dallas is east and Stl...was...west.

    AFC is fucked up too.

Pretty sure it's the "brilliance" of Jerry Jones. As long as the Cowgirls are linked to the East Coast, they'll forever get the East Coast bias from ESPN and NFLN.

That's the same for citizens in any town with multiple sports teams.

In Seattle we built a baseball stadium with mostly public money in 1999 for a team who was one or two nights away from moving to T.B. (funding was passed in 1995 after the miracle season) Then, in 2002 we built Century Link for the Seahawks after their previous owner tried to kill the fan base, literally botched seasons in 1991-1993, then sold the team to Paul Allen in 1996. In 2005-2006 Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks, demanded a new arena for basketball. When he didn't get it he turned his back on the city and sold the team to an Oklahoma City ownership group who promptly killed the team and fanbase, then demanded the most expensive lucrative arena deal in NBA history.

3 arenas demanded in an 8 year period. The public could not pass a 3rd bill as the city, county, were entering a downturn and already projecting shortages in budgets.

In Oakland, the coliseum is junk and has been for years. It is rated regularly as the worst venue in MLB. They need to build a stadium or Oakland may lose both teams.

Yep, a couple years ago the toilets in the clubhouse were backing up and dumping sewage on the floor.

It is horrible. I've been to two Raiders games back when Gannon still played, one during a late season game against the Chiefs. Classic AFC rivalry brawl that turned into mud, which was awesome. But the place is built like a prison, the bathrooms are horrible, and stormwater just flowed down the stadium stairs in torrents, and walking and standing in an inch or two of water while waiting for your turn at the pisser is just vile. Not sure if water or pee.... Plus is you arrive on Bart...well, felt like a prison train, and so did the pedestrian area from the station into the stadium.

It's tough in Oakland. The gray poupon and sushi crowd (Whiners) is on the other side, or rather now other end, of the bay. But if the team can muster anything like some winning seasons, and with Oakland gaining some urban coolness, thinks could slowly start happening for the better there.

Or they'll move to St Louis.

Ouch, Chip Kelly... I think he stands a decent chance to help Kaepernick but I also think he stands a better chance to get in a power struggle with Baalke and York and be gone in a year or two. I wonder if this comes with any roster responsibilities.

Never like hiring a fired coach who proved he couldn't do it. I don't think he learned anything from the Eagles... he would have needed some time away from HC for that.

i like the move. He now knows what not to do after being in PHI. He has zero player personnel say. Baalke will still be GM, Kelly will just coach. Lots of upside, albeit with some risk. Kelly is a good coach, hes a terrible GM.
