    Been to the SB last 2 years, won 1, narrowly lost another. Posted a great season with the highest rated and highest pass comp. QB in the NFL. Won a playoff game and almost won another after giving away a 31 point lead to the "best" team in the NFL.

    That sounds like the most consistent and best team in the NFC. Let's see what happens this coming year.

    The panthers were 7-8-1 last year and lucked in at 15-1 this year. They haven't proven anything...

    So... are you implying that the seahawks (with a worse record) that gave up 31 unanswered points in their playoff matchup are the poster child for consistency?

    Also, going from 7-8-1 to 15-1 in one year has to prove something..

    When the Panthers WIN the Superbowl next year, like the Seahawks have done then I will admit they're the NFCs best team.



    Going from a shitty record to 15-1 doesn't prove anything. The Jaguars were 15-1 before too.

    Like I said, let's see what the Panthers do this year.

    Since the Panthers franchise has never posted back go back winning seasons I'm gonna guess they go down to where they belong at 7-9 or 8-8.

    Or are you trying to argue that the Hawks are better because they've actually won a Super Bowl? Cuz then there's plenty of other NFC teams who have won more than one which would make them better than the Hawks :rolleyes:

If that's the case, they should have been playing in the SB again this year. And next, since Carolina lost tonight. They should skip the first 18 games next season.
