I'm not even half-way through yet, so I'll still have to keep my fingers crossed. I sold my bike when I was 19 but I've got a race quad so I guess I tempt fate too. I do feel bad for the guy because I'm not much better. But I do try to keep mine to a field so I feel a little safer than in downtown Miami. I probably came off a little harsh labeling it stupidity. Hell he'd probably think a lot of the things I do are stupid. My bad on that one.

I won't deny that. Life is about more than $ too. But I get tired of these guys that don't appreciate the opportunity that they have before them. A lifetime of money to stay safe, clean and work hard for 10-15 yrs. ALTHOUGH, I'm not sure I'd trade a lifetime of pain for that.

Agree. Being a millionaire after a few years of "work" would be cool, but being 40 and having the body of a 80 year old...idk.

I may be the only one who thinks this and I know I'm biased because I tore my MCL (falling out of the back of a Silverado, not doing anything cool or athletic) but I play fantasy ball and it seemed to me like knee and lower leg injuries in general were significantly higher this year. I get that the head injuries are awful and completely destroying these guys but I hope that it's not just transferring the style of hits to the knees and making for just total knee assassination. Jordy Nelson is my favorite player and all my buddies know it so I took the hit of taking him in the first round because I knew he'd go high second, because my friends are d-bags. Anyway, I took him first round in our draft (we draft early- August 8th) then the ACL tore while I was nursing a hangover. I thought God was punishing me via Jordy and the Pack for every sin I'd ever committed right then and there. His didn't look as bad as most but when I see some of these guys mess up knees, I just want to puke. I have full blown flashbacks to mine and how gross it felt.

I know Brady catches a lot of Hell for being Brady but I love that he still has some fun offseason hobbies and kinda tells the NFL to jump on it and that he's still gonna do what he wants.

Hue and his offense might actually be just what the kid needs. This *might* actually be a good thing for a change.

    Might.

The St. Louis Rams only drafted Michael Sam, the NFL’s first openly gay player, as part of a deal where they would avoid being featured on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ series, according to a Wednesday report published by local St. Louis radio station 590 The Fan.

‘Hard Knocks’ follows an NFL team as it trains and prepares for the upcoming season in the summer, and according to sources, the Rams avoided the intrusion and hassle of being filmed during practice by selecting Sam during the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft and keeping the league out of the PR nightmare of denying a gay player a draft pick.
