Jacksonville. Kahn wants him there to sell tickets. Might be tough to get a coach that wants to go there, though, knowing that the owner wants Tebow to play.

i think tebow has the potential to be a great QB. he brought denver to the playoffs last year, and is a phenominal leader at the very least. look at tom brady, 199th pick in the 6th round. ran a 40 in 5.2 seconds, wasnt athletic, didnt throw the hardest, fuck, he didnt even play football until late high school years for a team that was 0-8. not saying tebow will be a hall of fame QB, but tebows a hard worker, and brady proved stats dont mean shit. i think he'll do a good job wherever he goes. he is def better than fucking sanchez...

I read this: "i think tebow has the potential to be a great QB."

I did not see a punchline and was disappointed. I'm still waiting for some sort of "lol" or "jk" or ... anything.

The injuries are building up on him and his best playing days are behind him by a couple of years but the team will miss his leadership in the locker room and on the field.

Definitely a great player and a definite 1st ballot HOFer.

The sad thing is even Romo's worst games are better than Sanchez' best games.

    Surely you can't be serious.

Is he a great leader? Absolutely.

Is he a hard worker? Sure

Is he a "great guy"? Probably. I've never met the kid.

Is he a good NFL QB? NEGATIVE.

You can't play like crap for 55 minutes and expect to come back in the final 5 every game. Your defense and kicker aren't gonna keep you in every game.

Plain and simple: he doesn't have the mechanics to be a QB in the NFL. He's had plenty of time to work on those mechanics now, so if his throwing motion was gonna change, it would have already made it. You can't wind up like that for every throw when you have Justin and aldon smith or Jared Allen or Ray Lewis or any of those Guys comin at you. You're gonna get sacked for fumble it.

Definitely disagree with your "great QB" comment. I know he wants to stay at QB, but if he wants to play he should move to FB or rb or TE. He could be a beast. Shoot, I'd even take a look at him at LB. He's a big, powerful dude with the potential to blow some people up. However, a great - or even a Good - NFL QB, he is not.

I disagree. He is young he has made some mistakes, just like all quarterbacks do. Until someone spends some time with him and gives him a fair chance I will disagree. He did better in Denver last year than Eli manning, tony romo, mark Sanchez, and Michael Vick did this year.....

    No. dwalden2 was spot on.

Tebow does not have the mechanics to be a good QB, at least not right now. And HE did not do better than all those QBs you listed, DEN defense and special teams did.

he made the playoffs.... thats more than all those QB's can say this year. you can say its defense or special teams, but who leads the team? who throws touchdowns? who enables defense and special teams to win the game? the QB does.

    Total QBR from ESPN
    Tebow 2011 - 72.9
    Romo 2012 - 90.5
    E. Manning 2012 - 87.2
    Vick 2012 - 78.1
    Sanchez 2012 - 66.9

    Passer rating from ESPN
    Tebow 2011 - 29.9
    Romo 2012 - 62.7
    E. Manning 2012 - 67.4
    Vick 2012 - 46.0
    Sanchez 2012 - 23.4

So out of the QB's you described only Sanchez had worse stats, and even if he was comparable to these QB's that doesnt say much when they perfrom like that

Yes he made the playoffs last year, but like I said, that was a testament of Denver's defense and special teams (I forgot to mention the running game also). How do I know?

Tim Tebow 2011 (only played 14 games) - 271 pass attempts

    The other QBs you mentioned:
    Eli Manning 2012 - 536 pass attempts
    Tony Romo 2012 - 648 pass attempts
Mark Sanchez 2012 (only played 15 games) - 453 pass attempts
Michael Vick 2012 (only played 10 games) - 351 pass attempts

we can argue about it all day long, we can throw everyones numbers out and base everything off percentages and stats. look how well that works every year in the NFL draft. fuck, there are a shitload of players who get the 1st rd pick and never make the roster or play a regular season game. look at giovanni carmazzi, or chad penningtons short lived career, or how Peyton Manning never won a championship title in college, and Tebow has... you cant base everything off numbers, tebow made the playoffs last year because HE led the team to the playoffs. not because he sucks, not because he doesnt have good mechanics, not because of anything other than they worked as a TEAM and were LEAD to the playoffs by a decent quarterback. ive already agreed with you guys that he needs work, he doesnt have the fastest release, or best arm. but i think that any team that picks him up will benefit. may not be the first year, and will probably take a lot of work from the WHOLE team, but i think it will work nonetheless. can you guys see my point? basically, we dont know until we see or dont see it....
