i thought it was pretty funny too... and i'm a pens fan - go figure

not expecting everyone to bow down to the pens but hoping most can give credit where credit is due and not make excuses for every situation.

and since you brought it up, i'll give it a few more years before labeling it as a "juggernaut" but the pens will be VERY good for a long time as long as we keep drafting and managing contracts the way we have. we have some of the best players in the league and they have only been in the NHL 4-5 years. in those few years they already have an impressive list of personal and team accomplishments.

those are pretty widely accepted facts by most in the NHL not just the wet dreams of an all star fellating pens fan like myself :D

That's mature! ... and typical, still "crying around".

IMO, BOTH players were at fault for this steeped tradition in hockey. Lidstrom was just as much at fault as Crosby was. Again, it takes two to tango.

Not a bad year to be a Pittsburgh sports fan! Well, Pirates set aside.

I was a hell of a game, hell of a series, and hell of a playoffs.

    Round 3 next year?

WTF bro Lidstrom was there!... What was Crosby doing... Prolly getting a BJ from the Commissioner. He KNOWS Better especially cause he was there last year on the other end!!... The Pens won... good for them, better team? debatable.. but who cares Detroit will be in the dance next year... Will the Pens... Doubt it..

Im not crying either... you guys are the ones defending the Overrated, Unsportsman like Crosby

Too bad the only time we ever see eachother really is in the playoffs. A shame cause pens vs. wings hockey is usually a good game to watch.

I thought you were done ranting about Sidney? I honestly think you're obsessed w/ him?

Yes, you are crying. Have been!

We wouldn't be Pittsburgh fans if we didn't stick up our players. Any fan is going to defend there players they root for.

May be over-rated, may be this, may be that, BUT the bottom line is that he's the Captain for the Stanley Cup Champs for a year. Next years a different story.

Ohh, and really don't rember much "Crying" around that we did when we got our arses handed to us last year about this time. Just goes to show you what happens when the tides are turned... I thought that Detoit and their fans were "classy" until this series. Hell, I was in Detriot for game 1, and it was a good time. I'm starting to think that they're only "classy" as long as they're winning.

Ohh, and speaking of poor sportsmanship. How about the Detroit fans after Syndey got hurt. They boo-ed him off the rink. How's that for Unsportsman. Poor, poor, poor!

Of course their going to cry about losing the Stanley Cup...

They live in a SHIT HOLE - 50% of the businesses in their city are shut down, you can find a 3 bedroom house for $100 (though most are owned by the bank), crime rate is 2-6 times the national average, their NFL team went win-less last year and will probably do it again this year, their weather sucks and their politics are corrupt -

    ...they have nothing else!

CONGRATS to the Penguins - the 2009 Stanley Cup Champions! And CONGRATS to Pittsburgh - home of the 2008 Super Bowl Champions (most ever by one city) and 2009 Stanley Cup Champions. We were also recently rated the most livable city for the second year in a row.

Wow man got a little hate for the city of Detroit, I went back there in December and yes it is turning into a ghost town its pretty damn depressing. BTW the Lions had a perfect season. Correct me if I am wrong but I think Pittsburgh has pretty much the same weather pattern as Detroit? As far as corrupt politicians where I live now (Jersey) has the lead on that. Enjoy the Cup guys/gals see you in the Finals next year!

^ no...our weather sucks and our politicians are also corrupt - but we got the Stanley Cup and a Super Bowl Ring in the same year. We have some bragging rights!

Thanks for showing class and congratulating the winning team!

NFL.com has a shirt that sums up how awesome Pittsburgh is...
