As mentioned before the Canadian side is better. Not only the angle but also the back drop. From the American side you see all the tall Canadian buildings. Kind of kills it if you ask me. You are there to enjoy nature and these huge buildings are there in the background. All well the falls are still beautiful.

the bowshoot was fantastic. Great fellowship with people form all over, great weather, and the fish were biting at the lake.

I got the new bow tuned in on some 3-D foam and now It's ready for the real thing.

Upper New York is as uninhabited as everyone has said. Some very very beautiful country.......I never thought I would say it, but a redneck like me could definately find a home in New York.:D
We walked around Goat Island, visited Three Sisters Islands, we visited Cave of the Winds, rode the Maid of the Mist, walked out onto the observation deck, drove down to see the whirlpool, stayed the night in Canada, seen the falls at night, seen the falls at sunup without the sun:(........we hung off a lot of railings:D.......We only had one day so we got in what we could.........more pics to come below......

x2. When I went recently we drove from Long Island on 17 all the way to the falls and to be honest was a little more impressed with the beauty of upstate than the falls:eek:. The drive was a complete pleasure and I would not hesitate to do it again. Normally after being in the car for 10 hours I wouldn't want to hop back in but this time was different and I was eager to get going again.

that would be cool to walk over but I bet it was a long walk. Customs in the vehicle was a breeze and the guy was super nice.
