Yes we will. The price that I paid for mine was pretty cheap. I have been looking at prices all month.

 

Only issue is HIDs take a bit to warm up, and flipping them on and off isn't great for them, so they really are an off-road only light, or at least boonie county roads where you aren't likely to have frequent oncoming traffic.

I want to get a small bar for fill in and for frequent on/off situations.

 

Ya they will be great for a section hwy 125 from walden to grandby. I drive that section a lot at night and don't see much car traffic, but a lot of furry critter traffic.

I want some good ditch lights (for on and off situations, now). To go on either side of the 4000s.

 

Where did you get those lights Mr. Leo? I like the look too.

 

I got them off Amazon. Dot get me wrong they are still expensive but if you watch the prices for a little you can get a good deal. The red bezel would go great with your truck.

 

You can also get the halogen ones and do an HID retro on them, which is what I am running, for considerably less, but no cool red.

 

Ya no cool red or you can get the led vesion and get a blue bezel.

I'll just strap a couple Streamlite's on the bumper. Maybe set them to strobe...

 

Ya they are not cheap. But are nice. That might be cool. Just don't flash them in town.

 

So for reference, I drove over berthoud pass this morning in the dark with the 4000s on, and turning my headlights (HIDs on OEM projectors) and highs off, was a barely noticeable difference in light output, just a bit of fill off to the sides.

 

Good to know. I need the fill on the sides for hwy 125.

 

That's one way to know if your a native here. Natives here say I25 when us Cali

Can't wait to see how they perform. I was driving back on empty roads in North Park Sunday wishing I had more than my Hella 500s.

 

Ya it will be interesting to see them work. I just don't know right now when that will happen. My dad is back in the hospital and it is not good. So I am pretty occupied with that and work.
