Well the deconstruction of my front end has started. To start off with I found my front drivers idea shot took a shit today when we jacked it up. It was ready to fail like my other one did.

    20161111_141641.jpg
It was caked in oil when we put the truck on jack stands.

We also ran into my passenger side front cam was starting to freeze up in the bushing, and driver front was almost completely frozen in the bushing. We were able to use liquid wrench, wrenches and pry bars to get them out. Here is what an almost frozen cam looks like.

All of the cams will be getting a good cleaning and a lot of grease during reassembly. Here are couple more picks from the day.

Thus me drilling the spot welds out of the stock cam tabs. I ended up buying spot weld drill bits on the advice of @Squeaky Penguin . The drill bits work wonders. If you get through the weld it takes a few wacks from a BFH and a good heavy cold chisel. Starting tomorrow young Brett and I only have one more cam tabs to get off and then weld the new ones on and reassemble the front end.

Ya I didn't either until Brett said something. But they work great. If you plan on doing this project I would highly recommend getting a set.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
This rig is a huge pile. Front skid is dented into the front diff, and the rear diff is leaking between the 3rd member and housing.....

.... but it does have Kings.
