    Its great with killer views. I would stay away from Bee canyon on memorial day and do Thomas Mtn. and SSTT. Also look up Old Control Rd. off of Toll Gate Rd. in Idyllwild. Black Mtn. is also a good one but again it will be crowded over the holiday.

    Also check out rouse truck trail (spellcheck?)
    It starts behind the ranger station across the street from bee canyon and goes all the to Thomas mountain. Usually a good 2 hour drive for what I remember
