Good man, it really is 'one day at a time' right now, just handle your business and take each day as it comes, a lot of this you can no longer control so don't try to get answers to everything. Maybe she just needs a break, maybe not, it doesn't really matter at this point. It hurts like hell and you want answers but don't focus on that, just handle your business and keep in contact with the kids. Stay positive on the phone to them, don't talk bad or talk trash, I'm sure you know that. It's gonna take a while for things to settle out. Don't make any big moves yet unless you absolutely have to.
Don't think about divorce and custody and stuff like that just yet, hopefully if you two remain civil you can avoid all that with nothing more than a perfunctory judgement, but that's later on. The point where I drew the line was when my ex refused to let me see my son, then my hand was forced and I had to file. Be civil until you have absolutely no other choice but to be something else. I know i'm getting ahead of myself here but I just want to set some mental framework to apply some logic to an illogical situation.
My offer still stands brother, anytime you want to talk man:)

I don't know you but, I know what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers go out for you. You alone, are your own worst enemy in times like this. Stay busy, and stay level headed. This too shall pass.....

Glad that everyone is OK today...hearing from your kids must have been a relief.
Keep your mind occupied with work, having the distraction will be a good thing. I know I would have had a complete breakdown when I was going through my divorce if it hadn't have been for work. Getting launched into a very stressful job kept my mind off of other things.

That sucks. IMO, based on those actions, I'd ask an attorney to advise you of your rights. You deserve a chance. You aren't getting it.

Sounds like you're taking in everything pretty well. That's good. Continue trying to stay busy and clear headed. Try and not do what most will in a situation like this and get drunk. Doing so will will make you do/say/text stupid things. Good luck.

She reached her "limit" and this is how she handled it?

Good riddance. I hate it for you and your kids, but honestly judging by this behavior you're better off now.

Keep your head up man, sounds like she has a lot of growing up to do. There are better ways to handle things if she was indeed unhappy. Enjoy the loaner Tundy and talk to a lawyer, there is no way your kids should suffer because your wife is unhappy. Tell her to put her big girl pants on and deal with the situation!

x3. What a terrible situation to be in... I'm feelin' for ya. Just be strong, and try not to do anything irrational. We're rooting for ya. Hope everything turns out okay. Try not to go get drunk like we all try to do in times like this- getting drunk may lead to stupid decisions like making bad phone calls/texts to her, etc. My boss is going through the same thing right now, and that's what f*cked him up.
