Nightshade? Lame. Sounds like a woman’s romance novel. FFS Toyota, think of your demographic. You release a STORMSHADOW edition and watch us grown men who were kids in the 80s sweat with anticipation.

From the article I read this morning

    Limited platform based
2 and 4 wheel drive options
    Dark wheels
    Color match mirror caps
    Color match door pulls
    Dark fog bezels
Un-defined interior details (Maybe a full @MESO chrome delete kit and SR door pulls?)

Un-defined if available in a long beg configuration. This would be the major game changer for most that want the Limited options with the LB platform in the US.

So essentially a (expected) $700 package for $450 worth of parts and an afternoon of swapping them if you prefer the Limited wheels and grille. I've since painted a 2020 SR grille (same design as the Limited) and replaced the Limited, silver/chrome, to complete a veery similar look. I prefer Limited wheels over these Nightshade ones as well so.

Agreed but I'd hate to have to maintain matte paint... And it's not like Toyota is known for having quality paint given the recent issues with BBP and Super White.

The other Nightshade cars are available in white so it kinda makes sense for those who hate chrome but dont want to have to keep black clean. I'd personally never own a black vehicle again unless it was a garage queen show car.

lol for sure! the pics I've seen here of the issues with the blue/white were shocking man.

I love my black truck but yeah, it's dirty fast. My last one was a 2011 and I found out quick how touchy the paint is after missing
some bird poo on there for a couple months and it had eaten thru right to the metal!

My SR with the SX package has everything listed (minus the seats) so I was confused reading it as I thought this was already offered on all trim levels. Wtf. Maybe you guys will finally get our blacked-out interior, too.

A few pics. I'm going to try and get a few better ones when it clears out a little, as well as some of the Trail Edition. IMG_20200206_104412.jpg IMG_20200206_104351.jpg IMG_20200206_104338.jpg

Lots of pictures here, https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/pictures/toyota-tacoma-tundra-sequoia-nightshade/ . They look like they are but it could just be the lighting, also the tail lights are definitely blacked out.

Wonder when these will be available for order since I am looking at starting my search at the end of this month.

I like it, too. The textures grille should cut down on the shininess/bling.

    Great photos!

    That's some serious windshield tint!
Going to be a lot of "night business" going on in that truck.

Looks like gloss. We all know how much Tacoma people love gloss and chrome!
