That is not the grille that is on the nightshade edition.

I just keep seeing K’s in that new grille, not a fan. Should have just took the 2020 TRD grille and made it black, that one looks much better.

Correct, didnt realize he posted the 16-17 cheese grater instead of the 18-19 updated grater, lol, but its an updated 18-19 (black surround, incorporated the front camera) same overall design.

I guess they had too many 2018 trd grilles left over, had to put them to good use:)

I think it doesnt look too bad.

I liked the design, just not the chrome surround.

    Ew.

The chrome looks ok on silver and white, but on black its just too much.

Not bad I like the grill. What's with all the purely cosmetic pkgs for the Tacoma? I'd buy a Nightshade if they were not selling well and could get a good deal. I think a DCLB Sport with that grill and a set of GX 460 wheels would look better.

I mean they did have the TX Pro, TX Baja packages, then SET has their own nonsense packages like Predator, Texas Edition, XST, etc. I'm always a sucker for a murdered out truck, loved my 16.

Most of the pkgs Toyota and their distributors put together look good. I would like to see more purpose built pkgs over the cosmetic ones. I'm not sure what it would consist of but I'd like to see a Tacoma QDR pkg.

They fail even at "purpose built" packages, just look at the "trail" package, no locking rear diff, no mudflaps, etc. Just a dressed up SR5 with some coolers in the bed.

I look at the trail as more of a cosmetic package.

I would rather have the storage cubby on the side of the bed instead of those ridiculous coolers.
