nikon D40 or D3000?

Good call, thats the one i was looking at on Amazon. I didnt realize it was not the same one Ill grab it once I get paid next week

Im getting better with the settings and I messed around with the built in editing stuff

 

I just picked me up a D3000. I love it so far!

 

I like mine more every time I use it

 

Im gonna try and get out this one evening this week and use my camera some more. On the way home from the lake this weekend I saw a bunch of old rusted up trucks and farm equipment that I wanna shoot

 

Nice choice. I recently picked up a D5000 and I love it!

 

I went with the D90. I liked the 18-105 lens that came with it, still allowed close ups but gave some more range over the 55. I also added a 70-300 for long shots. Just make sure to get the VR lens.

lol. love the dr evil image! She is a rescue dog. Her teeth are jacked up for sure! But she is super friendly

 

Good on you for saving her! and that's all that really matters

 

Heres a couple ive taken with my 3000. Hasnt let me down yet. I would have said if you could save up more go with the d90 because i have one of those as well and you can definitally see the difference between that and the 3000.

 

nice shots. Ive began to notice a lot of it has to do with post production.

 

What you mean by post production?

 

like after you upload them to the computer and adjust contrast and color. is that what that means? haha but thats what I meant by it

yea a good lense helps a lot too. If I shot the same pic with my fuji film point and shoot and then with my d3000 it would look totaly different

 

you should look into getting a 18-200 lens. Amazing lens.
