what drives me nuts, is that when I dropped my headliner to run some wires, I pulled too hard in one spot, and now the headliner is not straight. There is a crease. I know its there, but I can only see it when the sun visor is down.

So, since moving and home improvement projects, I have virtually no time to work on my truck. Posting the quotes I got per part(s), prices include tax already

u joints and CB (have the parts) - $160
rear brakes (labor and shoes) - $200
Driver's side wheel bearing (have parts) - $135

So about $500 bucks to save a full day of me wrenching on this thing, or less than a day with help from friends. hmmmmmmm haha

I would like @MY50cal and @loosnut to live near me.
My personal Noob mechanic @Sub-Zero recently moved to Colorado.
And my other Noob mechanic @HolyHandGrenade is too busy to help me coz he's getting ready for Moab.
And my third string Noob mechanic is too far to be of any use.
And my 4th string Noob mechanic is not really a mechanic.

Haha I might be a noob mechanic level one day! Honestly I just appreciate all the help, and every time I get to learn something new!

Also I flipped the CB and have 2" spacers and the vibes are almost gone :)

    Small Updates:

Almost got my drive lines perfect with the IEDLS carrier bearing - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...uy-iedls-polyurethane-carrier-bearing.421410/

Set it up similar to @HolyHandGrenade's post - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-carrier-bearing.421410/page-51#post-12642990

Combination of 1" square tubing and the OME drop kit and 3 washers

Today I ordered new OME 90021 shocks, since I needed new ones (didn't feel like replacing the bushing) and the trim packer.

Lastly, have new brake shoes for the rear, and once the shocks arrive i'm just getting my local shop to install / replace everything so that I can have it worked on while at work and be done with it haha.

Once that's done, truck should be good for a while, although I do have a few thoughts when the house is finished:

    • Hoops added to front bumper
    • Sell tailgate and get a swingout made on current HC rear

Truck goes under the knife tomorrow. Not really, but weird having someone else work on it. New front shocks and rear brake shoes in tomorrow, and a tire rotation / brake bleed.

Stoked to not spend a day working on it, not stoked having to pay hahaha

In other news, the sky looked epic right outside of work and I had to take a photo

Nice to see the upgrades, considering the weather over there right now I don't blame you for wanting to take it to a shop. What shocks are you getting?

Just OME 90021, bang for buck I can't complain about my OME setup. I choose these shocks as they are supposed to be softer than the other standard shocks :)
