niose behind cab

Does anybody know what the rattling noise behind cab is? I only hear it on rougher roads . Sounds like it is comming from pass side be hind cab. knocking or rattling sound 08 access cab 4x4.

 

I see you have a Rugged cover, check to see if the front seal towards the cab is flapping around and causing the noise. I am not familiar with the Rugged cover but after installing numerous Undercovers on customers trucks this issue creeps up every no and again.

 

Got anything in the cubby holes in the bed? I forgot I had something in there a while back and it was rattling and driving me crazy. There's a noise from my tailgate too, so I guess that's an option. It sounds a lot closer than all the way at the tail gate.

The rugged cover is ok the niose is at slow speeds , nothing in compartments on bed what chris said may make sence allthough the jack and tools have never been out. it sounds like it is low like under the bed.

im having this problem too.... the bed squeaks like its going to fall off or something? maybe i should take it easy on the truck?

 

chck the plastic rear fender liners.......some of those were coming loose and rattling like hell.

 

Me too. I keep all my straps back there and they rattle worse than you would expect.

I'm gunna line mine with rubber shelf liner.

 

If you have the storage cubbies behind the seats, check to see if you have a molded flashlight holder. Mine rattles all of the time. I'm about ready to throw it in the trash......... Great idea that fails on execution.
