I saw that. Liked it, but didn't think it was totally fair because didn't seem like Nathan operated the 4 wheel drive system to its best advantage.

I took the Frontier for a test drive...Before I bought my Tacoma.. not even close Tacoma FTW.
Read that stuff with a grain of salt.. and test drive to confirm, done and done. Don't see where they pull this stuff out of..just sayin.

I believe they chose the Frontier because of these things:
    1. Proper truck engine with low end torque
    2. Smooth shifter
    3. Almost as good off-road as a Tacoma
    4. A fully boxed frame.
    5. It's so old, it can be had at steep discounts
    6. It's the Jack of all Trades at a decent price point (if you include the steep discounts)

The Frontier and Ridgeline are so ugly looking. At least the GMC looks decent

Agreed. I like the GMC more than the Colorado.

I test drove the Colorado, the canyon, the Tacoma... I had no interest in driving the Honda or the frontier...

Only thing i like about the Honda is how the tailgate opens 2 ways and the bed "trunk" ...seen on a commercial...

All these reviews are silly. They're biased, based on nostalgia, whoever lines there pockets the most, etc.

Ive driven or rode in the other mid size trucks. Just the feel, solidness, sturdiness, confidence inspiring feel of the tacoma the other trucks just don't have.

You can nit pick here and there. Oh boy I needed a tranny tsb and my engine isn't strong enough below 3k. Should have got a 6mt then.

When it's all said and done 5-6 years from now my 34500 msrp tacoma will be worth high 20's and your whatever mid size truck will be lucky to still be in the 20's.

Nissans only has what 11 years to perfect that truck, yet it's still worth significantly less across the board.

I'm gonna polish my second gen 5100s up real nice, take my free Toyota hat and drive my third gen over by the Nissan dealer and show those shit slingers what a real truck is and how to look while driving it.

If you aren't concerned about its resale value, the main advantage that the Nissan has over Toyota and GM is that can usually be purchased for thousands of dollars below what is shown on the Monroney sticker.
