    It's been almost 4 years since you installed this system, and I was wondering how your painted Gold Galvanized strut is holding up. I want to do the same track cheaply using rattle canned Home Depot Superstrut, but if that wears badly and I end up having to powdercoat, I'd rather just pay the extra and order aluminum strut from McMaster Carr.

    I know this thread is old but I just came across it and this is what I have been looking for. Need to replace those plastic rails! So hopefully anyone else feeling that the rails aren't strong enough can come see this too.
