Cool. Thanks. I mean, I looked at the example pictures, but after child wrangling all day, I figured I'd get a more clear mind to double check me.

You have this option if the remove & replace combination switch is too much.

ya. I'm debating which option to go with. Both look pretty straight forward. Just a fried brain after work today. Planning on doing this mod when I'm rested LOL.

Do you have the part number for the stalk you ordered? I have 21 SR with auto lights and would need that same one. Thanks

If you look for it as an SR it won’t appear. Because SR did not come with fog lights. You can also try Corolla/Highlander it’s interchangeable part. I got mine from EBay and it’s from a Highlander.

I’ll keep looking, I’m having a heck of a time being sure it’s right as so many sites don’t have a picture of the item

If only. At least that makes sense. I drove it through about 6-8 of flooded road and it sucked water into the intake and hydro locked. I didn’t think it was going to be an issue as Jeep said it has a 30inch water fording capacity. It was about 22-24 inches off. Water wasn’t even close to the running boards and it died. As soon as insurance found out it was a flooded road it was deemed a flood car and the instantly totaled. I loved the truck but I can’t ever trust one again. If it couldn’t handle a puddle what the hell am I paying for, ya know? Pic was a week before she off’s herself.

Did the steering wheel removal method on my 21 SR. now I'm getting pre-collision system errors, lane departure error, and headlight system error. headlight could be that I don't have the lights in. Any thoughts on what's up and how to fix it? Drove the truck around town and it drives fine, just getting the error messages.

Disconnect negative battery terminal for 10 minutes and reconnect perhaps?

I would check to make sure the connector on the TSS sensor is seated too.

I think Lane departure only uses the window camera though not the TSS sensor.

Do your horn and all of your steering wheel controls work?

Horn works, light controls work, windshield wipers work. I mixed up the errors, it's pre-collision system, stability control, LDA and headlights. Truck drives fine, took it for a spin to check that out.

hanging my head in shame. started tearing down the whole thing to put the old stalk in. Got the airbag out, the wheel off and the covers for the column off. started on the clips for the clockspring and found the one connector I neglected to reconnect when I buttoned things up. connected that and BOOM, no warnings when I got it all back together and turned the truck on.

That is what you had to do, return to prior status. Great that it wasn't worse.

ya. Good news it was just the one connector. new stalk is working so it's just the waiting game waiting for the lights to come in.
