Don't recall seeing indicator light up. Grounding to bolt next to air bag under steering column. I'll double check the pin location and replace the wire.

Anyone know where to find a tutorial on removing the wires from the deck lighting plug? I popped up the white “E” retainer, but can seem to push the wires out. I am guessing I need to push the end of the wire clip up or down. Any advice is appreciated.

Push something small and thin (but solid) down this part of the slot, and then you can pull the wire out from the back.

Think of it like a phone or internet cable with one of those little tabs you press down on to pull it out. That's what you are sticking a tool down the slot to release.

Great instructions! I'll be digging in to this mod as soon as I can get all the necessaries together. Thank you Nitori for doing the ground work for us and for doing it so well!

Found the issue. The wire in pin 26 didn't click and pushed out and didn't make contact. Once that was rectified all is good. indicator works.
My fogs come on when parking lights are on , headlights do not have to be on. Does not come on when DRL is on, however with then coming on with parking or headlights works for me.
Thanks again for the write up.

    SUCCESS!!!!!!
I am so stoked about this. I can build a screaming Big Block Chevy motor, but my wiring ability stops at installing batteries in a flashlight.
Much thanks to Nitori for such a comprehensive write-up, for all my PM’s to him, and his patience in his replies.
    Great guy.
I like this set up because it is wired like OEM. I tried to keep it on a budget, so I didn’t go the “stalk switch” method on the steering column. My SR was pre-wired though.
I was able to purchase the fog lights and wiring harness used from a forum member- he had taken them off his 2017 Taco in order to go the LED route (huge score). Then I purchased the remaining parts as outline in this thread, from gunni1005/Gary @ Camelback.

Also, a big thanks to Moe2o4 for his fog light write up, as there were pics in his thread that were used here.

Let's revive this thread because I need help. I am going to look this weekend before I purchase, but would a corolla turn stalk with a fog light switch work if I am pre-wired?

I am going to do the intermittent wiper mod at the same time so I found one with both and figured I would ask before I purchase

It looks like it should work based on what the parts catalog I use shows. That said, as far as I know you are gonna be breaking new ground with a full corolla swap.

I just figured since the wiper stalk was the same it should work, but then again I was scared it wouldn't which is why I asked

You should be good to go then. Not being able to actually test the parts out I cannot guarantee you, but every indication so far has been yes, this will work.

I have a 17 SR with convenience package...foresee this mod some time in the future. I like the button method better than the stick. Reminds me of my old 02 Ranger. Wish one of you guys were in VA that have successfully done this. I suck at wiring. great write up @Nitori

Anyone wanting to do this the 14 corolla stalk with fogs and intermittent wiper fit perfectly in my 16 Sr tacoma. I was wanting the intermittent switch anyways so when I got the fogs why not all at once with the same stalk.

Wipers work exactly they way they should. Fogs come on with parking lights, indicator on dash comes on.

Yea I know my Tacoma isn't squeaky clean, but I actually don't care because it's mine not yours :p

Do you have part numbers for the side marker light pigtail connector, or where did you get that part from?
Edit: nevermind I found them, Toyota part number 90980-11156, Dorman part number 645-673
