    Hello:

I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road that I just put Nitro 5.29's in. I live in a valley with mountains close by so I have had to go up many a mountain...and did a lot of hunting....for gears that is. My truck is pretty stock and I was worried about doing an "overkill" by putting in 5.29's instead of 4.88's....but it wasn't a problem. I am doing a build now and wanted to start with the gears first.

Let me say right now, I do not work for Nitro, and I am not paid by Nitro in any way, and in a fact Nitro doesn't even know that I am writing in this blog about them.

But I have to say, it was the best absolute thing that I could have done for my truck. The new gears are smooth and I feel so much more power out of my 3.5L V-6! There is a little different noise out of the rear end than there was before, but I can honestly say that I don't even notice it. I know that the gears are not cheap but WOW! What a difference! Can honestly say, it was money well spent, and I would recommend putting these gears in to anyone!

Yup for the 3rd gens 5.29s all the way don’t even waste your time with 4.88s if you plan to run any tire larger than stock
