    Hi All! I am new here however have been using this site forever! I love it! Anyhow, I just wanted to share some photos of the new tires. I have been looking for new tires forever and right when I was about to make my final decision I came across the Ridge Grappler! Im glad I did. My truck is stock with 5100 Bilstein set at stock height, 18" wheels with +12mm offset. Tire size 275/65/18. YES, it rubs but only to the plastic corner of the fender flares, therefore i trimmed that area off and its all good now (no mud flaps as you all know they fly off on the hwy). First time with this mud like tires so I have no prior experience with mud tires. The tires are quiet until you get to around 60mph it starts to hummm, but not to the point where it is annoying. I guess it is expected, but like I said I have no prior experiences with mud tires so I cannot really compare. Anyhow, they are new and hunting season just started so will update as I put it to work!IMG_2086.jpg IMG_2087.jpg IMG_2085.jpg IMG_2084.jpg

    According to the specs provided to us by Nitto, the 285/75R-17 LR-C Ridge Grappler weighs 65 lbs which is the same as the Wild Peak A/T3 W.

    Thanks for the quick response! Much appreciated.

    That is surprising considering the difference in load range... but it also makes my decision easy. I'll be sticking with the Falkens. It would be nice if there was a lighter weight option for 34x11.5s, but oh well.

    So how do you like them and how are they noise wise on the road?

    Has anyone tried these in 265/70r17 on a stock truck? I'm thinking of trying them on a TRD Pro wheel and am curious what if any sort of rubbing I should expect.

    @Discount Tire Direct
    just got the level 8 bully pro wheels in 17x9

    i'm 100% set on getting ridge grapplers

    i'm going with 285/75/17

    question tho?

    C rating vs D rating

    obviously D is a stiffer ride, can hold more weight and has thicker sidewalls
    but i also see it's a pound lighter then the c rating unless that's a typo on nittos webpage that doesn't make sense to me?

    i drive about 90% street and highway, maybe go off-roading 4-5 times a year.
    and an occasional large construction site property lol

    what are your thoughts?

    lastly can u PM me your best price for 285/75/17 in both C and D
    want to order soon
