All joking aside, I really think 265s work with or without any lift as far as looks go. I originally thought I might lower my truck then I saw how 265s stuffed the wheel wells to the max and knew that was the look I was going for. I drive by a newer green Taco every day in Canton and I can just tell by the look he's running Duratracs in 265 and it looks fantastic. I also think lifted trucks look great too, including yours. Another benefit is I can go this route now without a lift and then later, do the lift and larger tires too. Win win.

My nephews best friend is going to get me a price on the NRGs (supposedly today). He works for a major distributor. I didn't ask which. He told me this past Saturday that he could do the mounting and balancing where he works and then the install at his house. I didn't want to get snotty with him but heck, I have a floor jack and air tools too and could swap my setup out for the new setup. The issue I have though is, to keep from going into work on a Saturday, he wants me to drop off the wheels to his house and then take them to work and mount the tires, and in the process, throw new aftermarket TPMS on them.

Personally, I would rather use my OEM. I intend to sell the Sport tires and wheels locally if possible for dirt cheap (like 600 bucks!). I am not keeping them. Once I put the Ray 10's on there I am never going back.

So I am just a little concerned about two things. One, with the Key that comes with the Gorilla lugs, is there any chance of damaging the wheels with any type of socket, be it air or by hand, and two, should I push for the OEM TPMS swap or let him add aftermarket? I was reading on here that the TPMS needs to be programmed into the computer on these trucks. Is that true?

I am very OCD and would rather pay whatever it costs to ensure there is some degree of accountability by a shop than have a friend do this, make a mistake, then not be able to hold them liable because they are doing me a favor.......know what I mean Vern?

I guess I could play the "I want to get them mounted up on a Saturday and I want to watch" card and hope I don't his feelings......and then go to a local shop.

Well.......It's on like Donky Kong boys. Called ATO Motorsports and ordered the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and scheduled the install on the Brushed Copper Ray 10s for July 22! Pics will immediately follow that night!
