No need to get touchy man, we're all here to help each other out. Just making sure you seen the posts made on the first page, the tire weight I gathered was directly from Nitto when I spoke to them on the phone. Would probably easier to base your decision off of the manufactures specs, there are too many variables when asking each person what their tire weighed in at. Who knows what kind of scale they're using or if it's working correctly. Regardless I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed with them. I went back and forth between RG and AT3W as well, ended up going with AT3W and they have been awesome so far. Good luck with your decision!

That’s bad thing about typing as we all know, wasn’t touchy! Meant as more of a “duh” moment!

Agreed for sure on variables, my concern is following manufacturers specs. They say C and E are the same, which as we all have heard is just weird, but whatever they say. If I get these I am going to a butcher shop and have them hang a tire on a hook scale! Ya know the old school ones with huge numbers! Probably not but a good thought!

Good to know you were in same boat! My fear with falken was the last AT tire, had them and didn’t like due to sipe depth! I know new are different and everyone loves them! So definitely an option, and $250ish cheaper!

A digital/analog bathroom scale would work too. Or a deer scale. Might only be off by ounces. That would be negligible.

I was in the same boat...Back and forth on the RG vs the AT3W. Read tons of reviews and was back and forth. Both have great reviews but it came down to for me the fact I found more bad things said about the AT3W vs the RG. Granted it’s just a person’s opinion ultimately but I had a hard time finding anyone saying anything bad about the RG. I just ordered the RG’s so time will tell if I chose wisely.

@ChadsPride how aggressive looking are these? Looking at RG 305/70/17 vs trails grap 295/70/17 with my maxtrac

I was worried too about the E load rating but not any more.

    20170920_134906.jpg

That's driving from the country to the beach. Average speed was 60 mph. With the bed and back seats loaded. Two adults. I honestly don't think I could tell the difference between E or C.

Here they are. I’ll take better ones when it’s more sunny. Love the look. Think I’ll need a CMC though sooner than I hoped...paid for an alignment but the front driver side rubs. Seems like they could have gotten the caster set to avoid it with my SPC uppers. Might have to call back and talk to them.

My driver side rubs too. Tomorrow I'll take pics of the offending piece of moulding. I think it can be removed or heated up and pushed in.

But other than that your truck looks fantastic! It's a nice smooth quiet ride no? They look great on those wheels!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the compliment. It’s nothing special compared to some of the builds on here but it’s mine and has my blood and sweat into it as well making it that much more valuable to me.

The ride home was definitely a lot more quiet than I thought it’d be. Time will tell if it’s worrh the money but during my research of tires i had a hard time finding a bad thing about the Nittos.

So for those who have this, would you consider it an ALL Terrain? I have 2 wheelsets. One is 17" that I want ATs on and the 16s that will have true MTs. I want a pretty quiet road worthy 17" that looks good. It looks good for sure. Is a reasonable daily tire?
    Thanks
