Not too sure about snow but they aren't bad in mud. You have to remember they are an all terrain tire and not a mud tire. I got stuck in some mud on a soft farm road that goes between the fields but they pulled the truck out in 4wd. This was a huge mud hole about 6-7" deep. I have 69k miles on mine and will be buying another set also.

Thanks boys, if i had the choice i would much rather gone with the mud or trail grapplers. But living in upstate new york by canada i had to do a toss up and take the ones better in the snow.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
I have them and really like them. Do really good in mud(IMHO at least, but wont do as great as a true MT) I have had them in at least 2’ deep snow drifts on roads close to buffalo I never aired down either, Just put it in 4wd and went did not have any problems.

Have a lot of experience with the Terra Grapplers. Great tire. Do way better in the mud than you would think.

Just got a set of 285/70/17 G2's P rated on stock wheels. I'm lifted on spindles around 6" and I've only lost 1mpg. DCLBFTMFW.

I got 45,000 miles out of mine. They still have 5/32nds tread left. I just switched to General Grabber AT2's just for comparison. I was super pleased with the TG's just wanted to come up with my own opinion. In snow, I pushed through 14" of snow 2 months ago with no problem and I never got stuck getting to my favorite fishing holes. I never went through tough mud trails.

I had a set on my 1st gen and now I have them on my 2nd gen. Overall a very good tire and light weight for a AT. They do very well in the snow and the rain but in the mud they are okay. I am very interested in the G2's as well, I am looking to go either with a Michelin m/s 2 or the new G2's for my next set...

Nothing yet. Old truck had the works.
I like mine in everything I've used them in rocks, sand, loose dirt. However i don't know what these guys are talking about our mud here must be different because they are HORRIBLE in thick clay. I had them in mulchy mud and they did fine. But clay just gunked them up so badly i couldn't start out on nice pavement in 2wd. I had to turn 4HI on and gun it to spin the mud out and move. They do not clear this clay mud very well.

They also chunk a little bit on the rocks but nothing badly. They look nice for an A/T and again do really good in everything that is dry wet not so good pavement is fine but off road I'm scared to death of mud then again they surprise me with the traction i get in loose dirt, gravelly dirt, big rocks, and sand Ive never even aired them down. About to order a portable air compressor so i can start airing them down.

Also nice that 265/70/17 weigh only 41 lbs each. The same size trail grapplers or toyo mt weigh 63 i think. Saves gas money.

Definitely recommend these tires in desert situations and highway use. Actually anywhere thats dry they do great. I just avoid mud at all costs otherwise i don't get stuck.
