    Hey Guys!

I am debating on switching tires to the Procomp Xtremem All Terrains. I am currently running the Nitto TG's and running low on tread. Any input on the Procomps would be nice to help me decide. I already have my opinions on the Nitto TG's and like them a lot. I kinda like the beefierness of the Procomps though...

I have about 25k on them... They probably have about 10-15k more but I am a little antsy to possibly get some new tires :)

The ProComps remind me of the Dunlop Rover RV that I've run.
Good all-around LT tire and good at not picking up crushed rock on construction sites.

The ProComp looks heavier than the NTG which if true, would mean more rolling resistance and a mpg hit.

Hmm that presents a valid point... I wonder what the weight is compared to the NTG. Since I use my truck for work I am driving allllllll the time and rather not kill my MPG for the looks of a tire lol. Wonder if anybody on here knows the lb's?

I have only heard of ONE person that has been happy with the Pro Comps. The people I know that have run them, have had them fall apart. One friend of mine lost his tread (2 month old tire) on the highway, smashing in the side of his bed. It took Pro Comp almost a year to send him a check for the damage.

Damn... such a nice lookin tire IMO. I guess I will just stick with Nitto's. I don't like the thought of my tread tearin off on the freakway.

Does anybody know of another tire that looks like the ProComp but with better reviews? :)
