I don't think anyone is trying to be a landscaper with their Taco.. But in the scenario of moving, picking up bulk lumber for a day, or even towing jet skies it def a must have. I won't buy a bumper without it.

Seriously having a hitch is amazing even if you aren't hauling anything heavy. Adds so much extra functionality.

 

I've towed with my CBI HC with no problem. Granted I've only got a single axle open 5x7 and a single axle open 7x10 trailer.

Does what I need it to do though.

This is what happens when you buy a truck from the ghetto.

Yeah a hitch is nice but I am not sure what his issue was with the hidden hitch... If it holds a reciever and you can tow with it than I see no issue... If needed I am sure you could get a removable hitch and mount it on or get something made to tow with... Taller the truck and the more of an angle the trailer is the worse the ride/more strain on the frame or in a HC bumpers case the stress on the bumper as well...

So I I'm fairly sure I slammed my slider into the side of a bridge getting onto it in Trenton (it was a really tight turn). I freaked out when I got over thinking I was going to get out and see body damage but was pleasantly surprised to see none.

problem is retards buying it that have done zero research on it and how it works. where did these morons think the pin would get inserted into when the hitch is flush with the bumper?

It's one of those things you don't need but when you do it's nice to have. It would have saved my ass a couple times when I needed to get my fiances car to a mechanic and could have just loaded it up on a dolley and be done with it instead of needing to wait hours for a tow.

 

I read that last night I think you pretty much summed it up. I had a hidden hitch on my lowered Dodge Ram and I remember the hitch pin being behind the roll pan. As of now I use the shit out of my hitch.
