Youre a young kid about to get into the coast guard. Id say stick with what you have and dont get too far into payments until youre settled and what not. When you move and need to get your life settled.. It gets pricey.

    I WANT MOAR BUILD THREAD!

This... 22k private party?! what does your taco have that mine doesnt?! haha ... shitty 5-lug only gets 15 grand private party :pout:

Just sell it and buy a 1st gen outright. My first gen has taken anything I've thrown at it so far still on stock suspension.

    Truth.

    Shhhhh!

Yea 2" cut off the fenders. I'm surprised the top of the tires aren't below the sliders. Might need new leaf springs and shackles after all...

    :)

 I'd go shackles first. They are cheap and you can modify them as need be. My one buddy messed around with his 85's shackles for months until he got them 100%. Ended up needing boomerang shaped shackles so they wouldn't whack frame at extreme compression.

    As usual you're the man!

I know that's what rich has too. And I believe Craig is going to be using the same ones. I'll have to follow suit

Just be weary of "Zone Offroad". Those POS's show pics of one shackle on fleebay and sell you another.

I was supposed to be buying this:

and was sent this POS junk shackle
    [IMG]

    which is MUCH weaker.
