Lakewood is known as little Israel

I was born in Lakewood, it used to be a nice town.

 

They are nice group of guys, didn't know much about Tacomas because they're mostly Jeep gurus. I picked up my Dakars from them.

 

I'd suggest not even driving through there. What are you looking at? It's a "uez" urban enterprise zone, so it's 3.5% sales tax instead of 7%

 

Well....


I got offered a really good deal on my car (more than I paid) and with the problems I've been having I'd rather just get rid of it however I need something else to drive soo.. I'm looking for other vehicles

 

And they remind you of that constantly.

 

Oh and before I get the "You shoulda just kept the truck you had" Yes yes I know I should have

 

Used to go dirt bike riding and sometimes shooting in Lakewood over by Kimbal medical center back in the early 90s'. Had a lot of fun there.

Yea, Lakewood is pretty nasty. When I graduated college, I worked at a dealer there as a mechanic. It happened to be the car brand that the hacidics prefer. When they brought there cars in, I wanted to put the seat and steering wheel cover on to protect me, not their interior.lol. Also, a girl I went out with that lived there used to tell me stories about the hacidics knocking on their door all the time offering cash for their house as they only wanted hacidics in their neighborhood.

 

Yea the last people in the neighborhoods to sell always get screwed real bad because no other people would want to buy it, and the hacidics just low ball them

 

It's my home town. I wish I was into wheeling when I was growing up. Got my new u bolts there.

 

And they pay in pennies! don't worry guys I am a "cashew" catholic mom jewish dad

 

Haha, that's funny. May wife has a Jewish mom and her dad was catholic.

I hate driving thru lakewood. Even the outskirts is bad.
