Just based on the only stuff I've been able to find online...

I still haven't been able to find first hand experience with the chinese versions cracking, not that it's not true... Just can't find proof :notsure:.

I also thought the Safari and Air Flow America ones were more expensive than they are

    Yep.
    Just throwing this out there

September 6th/7th yak and camp trip
    Milford to Stroudsburg
~35 miles down the Delaware water gap

I'm aware of the RC trip however, some might be in the mood for something a bit different... and summers almost over!

    :D

I just had $5600 worth done on my wife's car at the dealer replacing pretty much the whole top half of the motor. Then they tell me I need new front wheel bearings on both sides.

:gossip: I just replaced them in June. But RVT is the plan but clean off the old shit looks like it is going to be fun.

    Sounds like a good trip.

35 miles in one day or camping on the river and splitting it between two days?

have you ever done that stretch of the river or have you ever done that many miles? personally i think the only fun section of the delaware is farther north, and thats a LOT of miles especially if you're trying to do it in one day.
sounds like you need to find a reputable mechanic and stop going to the dealership.

Anyone know of a good place to get an oil change in S. Jersey? The Firestone on base sucks, they overfilled my subaru, and its high time the trooper gets changed out.. Gotta drive down to mississippi next month and I dont have the means to do it at my home

You need to tell my wife that. The only reason the dealer did my oil pan gasket was because they covered it under warranty and same with the wife's car due to the pos 5.3 burning oil since 30k. It's the only reason GM pick up half of the $5600 bill.

^^^ This. Unless you want to come down to the 08204. Looks like I will be doing an oil pan gasket.

Goddamnit I always wanted to camp on one of those islands. You are going from Milford, PA to Stroudsburg, not Stroudsburg to Milford, NJ correct?

I've gone from Milford to Dingmans when I was a kid and had fun. I've tubed Easton to Milford, NJ which was also a good time too. I wouldn't mind Stroudsburg to Easton.

Yeah Id be down for either but I have no clue where those are

but the concept is the same on a 4cyl only difference is that the oil filter is on the bottom of the truck near the drain plug area (ish)

Or you can come to 08831.... And my buddy who works at the stealership can get you 12 quarts of 0w20 and 2 filters I think for 80$ and I might be closer to you than Scott or Josh.
