I used my Shasta with my wife, and my son the other day (he's 13). We did fine, not as tight as I thought. Granted that usually when one is camping you hit the sack when you are just really tired (and most likely at least tipzy) otherwise you'll still be around the fire chilling...lol... and being a little tight becomes even less noticeable when you really tired, drunk, etc...
Anyway, long story short lol... IMO, i think you'll get more out of your tent than just the 1st 5 years of your kid... lol

Oh and I wish I can bring my dogs up in the tents, but one is about 95 pins and the other is 105, that will be full house fosho...
And I never anchor my overhang I just leave it propped up.

I never used the annex on mine even once yet. Not even to just try it
and now that you mention it I'm going to take a close look at mine, but I thought I read in the GB thread that they come with dual tracks where one is used for the cover and one for the walls, but it could be just me thinking that it would be a good feature and thinking i read it somewhere.... lol
...BTW I'm getting better at dealing with the overhang propping tube with the pointers you gave me...

I just bought a portable Bluetooth speaker that's also a battery pack and charges your phone, tablet, or any USB device. .. pretty cool...

The dog I want (male german short haired pointer) will be about 65-70 pounds full grown... No way am I lifting bis ass in the tent... Especially after I turn 21

 

I remember my first generator.

 

Had it burning for a while today before I had to go to work. I closed the damper all the way and it really goes down to a smolder so I opened it just a crack and that seemed to be enough. Didn't have enough time to see how it does with burn time but it seemed to be longer and still hot enough.

Does that jbl charge have a separate battery pack for the speaker or is it all just the same? I think I'm going to ask Santa for one but don't know if I should go for a $70 speaker and a $50 charger or just get that jbl

It's the same battery for both the speaker and the charging feature.... I also want a battery pack, particularly one of those small ones that have the big punch to charge your USB devices and even jump start a vehicle. I bought this speaker because I found a good deal on it. It retails for about 149 and got it on Best.com for 89 with free shipping...

 

A week from today it's my turn.

I may just kick that mouse in his nuts. The "magic" ain't cheap!

 

Truth...My wife and went a few years back - Not pretty even for two of us. Taking the family has me nervous...

 

well if the truck is running the battery has enough power to charge a phone, assuming the charger works correctly...

so last night when I got to work there was a puddle on the passenger side floor mat.

I pulled my truck into one of the bays and started tearing it apart to try to find the cause. I assumed it had to do with clearancing for 35's even though I sealed up the fender wells when I was done. Then I thought maybe the thule rack is letting water through the weather stripping.
Turns out the roof mounts for the led bar is where its leaking. Apparently the OEM roof rack mounting points aren't sealed, so now I need to unbolt the mounts and seal it up with some rtv. water has been entering there, soaking the air bag, and flowing down the weather stripping, behind the dash, and onto the floor, and some has been dripping onto the door and onto the weather tech mat. that stupid foam padding under the carpet was completey soaked so I ripped that plastic off and have it propped up to dry out.

 

Booo. My truck has been sititng for a few weeks...Hoping I don't have too many surprises...

I may be wrong but BPF told me RTV is not water proof... Thats why I now have half a tube of silicone in the truck lol

 

Most the ones I seen say "sealant adhesive"

 

The Permatex RTV is waterproof

 

wish it was easy to search texts! He told me to get silicone instead of RTV like I was going to get originally...

Edit: that was when I first installed my CB... Well over a year ago.

 

RTV is a type of silicone. Gotta read the tube to make sure you are getting a waterproof indoor/outdoor product.
