    Lol, when I got my Grand Cherokee for work, the day the plates came in. I was going to ask the dealer not to mount the front one. On the way out of the office, I ran into our owner who was pulling in. He had just gotten a ticket that morning for not having front plates on his Jag. Sadly my idea was nixed really quick.

    You can screw a bracket to the aluminum crush bar and route it through the bumper grill, then mount the plate to that. Then no drilling required in bumper
