Its up in the air now I may change and go to Sandy hook. Gonna talk with some people tomorrow and then see where I stand... Leaning more towards the hook...

So what made you want to be stationed in Philly to began with? And why the change of heart so quick? It seemed you were happy about it.... Did your housing plans fell through?

A co worker has this listed on Craig's list. Low miles and very clean.

 

Damn. I'd buy a double cab in a heart beat if I didn't need the bed space. Nice first gen though.

 

What's with the rebuilt title

 

Not sure I didn't notice that but I am going shoot him a text.

 

Some interesting things with this one, 5spd was never a factory option with the dbl cab. So that's swapped in (cool, but complicated), and then the 4runner radio bezel fitting (which does look nice) in place of the tacoma one.

 

He said he bought of an old guy with that title. He thinks it could have been in an accident at one point and that is why he is not asking a lot money for it. His Dad owns a body shop out by Ant and they went over it real when he bought it and they could find any traces of a frame damage unless it's been swapped out.

I always thought that too and the wheels and fender flares appeared to have been painted.

 

Yeah the bezel does looks nicer that I'd thought. I can dig it. But that manual. Now that's great. DCs only being auto is one of the big reasons I didn't get one. I was looking to own my first manual, so a DC was out of the question. In the future, I wouldn't be totally opposed to swapping my truck for a manual swapped DC.

 

Oh shit didn't even catch on to the manual part. Had a few at lunch.

 

I had changed my mind about philly because I thought I knew someone incharge of Sandy hook. Turns out its not the sandy hook station I was going to be able to go to... So the 65' ice breaker tug in philly is a better opportunity

 

I hear it's two rubs and a tug in philly, go to chinatown and ask for chia wang

 

The 5spd got me wondering too.
That's a crazy amount of work on a vehicle with under 65K
