Anyone know of an affordable powercoating shop in north/central jersey?

 

If it's for the sliders it's not worth it. Paint em and touch up when need. Only thing I would consider powdercoating I think are my bumpers but even those I scratch up more than I thought

 

GSD Coatings in Keyport is really good. They do bed liner and gun coatings as well.

 

Where do you guys go wheeling in NJ? Any parks? Private land?

I live just outside of Easton. Looking to go over the river wheeling sometime with you guys!

 

Best place to go is in PA actually, Rausch Creek. The pines in NJ can be fun but lots of potential legal issues and where it's legal to "wheel" it's not very fun unless deep water is your thing.

 

I know about most places in PA, specifically asking for NJ. Thank you for the info about the Pines!

 

I'm going to going to have my bumper painted as opposed powder coat just for the reason it is easier to sand and touch up.

 

Hi guys! Anyone from Northern NJ?

I live in southern part of Rockland County, NY and work in Rockleigh, NJ.

I've kept my '05 Taco bone stock for 10 years and after a recent frame replacement, I realized: Damn... this truck still looks good and not a single mechanical issue. I found TW a few months ago and, umm... let the modding begin and the bank account drain...

By the end of winter (or early spring), I should have my sliders and skids and other goodies here and there installed and ready to go. I already installed a mild 2" lift last week. See my sig for other mods (all in the past three months.)

Now I need to find like-minded souls to go wheeling with. Hopefully, this thread will be my gateway to future wheeling adventures and new friends.

 

I figure keeping my armor looking good is a major PITA but in the end that armor has saved me from a fuck ton of body damage so fuck it.

 

My thoughts exactly. I don't want to spend a ton of money getting something powder coated when it's basically just waiting for me to fuck it up.

 

Welcome! Plenty of us who wheel here, usually making trips to Rausch Creek every couple months.

 

Some Tacoma drivers make the rest of us look bad. Driving for a living has its downfalls

Central jersey powder coating and there is one in middlesex on lincoln blvd he did the rings on my wheels

 

Doing a body wrapped on my motorcycle soon hopefully it comes out nice. I'll throw sum pics up after it's all done

 

Officially in NJ for the next 4 years!
