This is why I'm running 3/4" spacers in the front because my wheels aren't the right backspacing.

It also does make the stock wheels and tires look better IMO which is why I ran them on stock tires and gives a little wider stance which on off camber stuff always made me feel better when I had my duractracs and the big horns.

Not anymore stress than a wheel with that amount of backspacing.

That's a perfectly fine reason for them. They're cheaper than buying new wheels that's for sure. If you look in my build thread there's pictures of my truck with stock wheels and tires with 1.25" spidertrax spacers. In my opinion it definitely looks better with a wider stance.

Also helps to have the tires stick out more when wheeling

Looks so much better with spacers in your pic JLink than without. I am still on the fence about them and will probably consider lifting the truck first before refocusing on wheel spacers. How are they with respect to mild wheeling? (Nothing extreme)

 

All the wheeling I've ever done has been with wheel spacers. And I've done some pretty hairy trails.

 

+1 on no issues with wheeling with spacers. I always have and I beat on my truck pretty hard.

 

Any time you push your wheels out further than what it was designed for you're putting extra stress on your wheel bearings. Now, is 1" going to make you blow bearings every 20k miles? Probably not.

I had to get a rise out of someone and Dyob is not here and since he took Dyob's spot on the stick poking at me I had to rustle some feathers... I still can't tell if it's in good fun for him but I know that I get shit talked behind this forum so I'm not too worried...

How's it feel to have your truck back, did they f anything up

 

Not that I can tell. The tech's are really chill and I felt really confident in them going into it. I tested 4 high/low and e-locker before I left. All checked out fine.
