Chris I wont argue that you guys put up with a lot, but at the end of the day respect gets respect. It's easy for us to respect the moderators when they seem to treat us with respect. But when we feel that we are being targeted by a particular moderator it's easy to get upset about it.

Unless I'm under the wrong impression you guys are here to keep a reasonable level of order and maintain the site while making sure that problem members get sorted out. People like Eddie need a permaban while people like Kevin just deserve a pm, which it seems you did, until someone else stepped in.

There is no targeting by moderators

All of this stemmed from discussion amongst several of us, including Chris after the initial PM

We went with what info we had and prior similar incidents. THEN and only then we finally get a full story so we decided to give Kevin a second chance (unanimous).

What Chris is saying is that regardless of your feelings for a particular staff member, we aren't going to tolerate backhanded/underhanded comments, snide remarks etc that are negative towards the staff

Simple as that...you don't have to like us, you don't have to post that you like us, but we aren't going to allow you to badmouth us.

He did receive a PM from Chris and he did respond, his response to the question about two accounts was very vague and he did admit another account was created.

If you're implying that I took action and did what I did on my own you couldn't be more wrong. The whole decision to post what I did and to close the thread was made by more than 4 moderators and the admin.

As for respect, how do you feel you're being targeted by a moderator without even asking the moderator why action was taken. Yes respect is mutual but to go and put one specific moderator on blast for an action without trying to learn why isn't very respectful at all.

Everyone will have their opinions on them. I haven't heard good things about them from guys who wheel pretty hard and I guess it depends on what you'll be doing with them. What I don't know is the quality of the steel they use, is it American or Chinese steel, DOM or HREW?

They are good but I like my kickout sliders from 4xinnovations more, they stick out a good amount which makes it easier for me to step on and I have a couple of dings from other people's car doors hitting them

I always figured TG just has made so many and do so much tube work that they can offer them really cheap. I can't wait to get armor. First thing will probably be an addicted off road bumper and some tube rear bumper as my rear bumper is rusting to shit.

I've rarely heard good stuff about trail gear's quality...but i think it falls in the same category as All-Pro

They make an OK product that will suit the person who wheels once a year just fine...if you plan on actually USING the stuff to slide/bounce/scrape/land on rocks...i'd get with one of the MANY small fab shops that are vendors on here or around your area and get a quality setup made

    :(

    :(

:) To busy typing replies to your PM's and I missed this action.

I'll admit and apologize for being wrong in targeting Forerunner without talking to him first and also making fun of his screen name (even though I think I had some funny ones).

Like I said to him in our PM's the focus always goes to the "man" who closes or bans the person and during the heat of the moment bad decisions can be made.

Either way Kevin is lucky because we all know what happened in the past if things like this went down.

OK back to being a douchebag

so $300 for sliders of questionable quality that are unfinished

I paid $400 for mine and they were a complete custom job and welded on and painted for that price

AND they are US .120 DOM

Wait, wait, wait. TW isn't mostly full of fairy dust, rainbow sherbert, lolcats, and unicorn farts? I thought all the shit was concentrated in Jersey so the rest of TW could be a happy smiley place?
