Nice job man. Yea rear shock remove is a pita. I've had to use 3 vise grips on the shaft to keep it from spinning before.
I hope you used that as a learning lesson and put anti seize on the threads of everything?

So I added a 4 gallon rotopax today... Got it in a trade with @HolyHandGrenade

I would have rather had a 2 gallon and a first aid kit storage box mounted there but 4 gallons is better I think and I can just keep the first aid kit in the truck.

Nope I used the mounting plate! Ordered it sunday came in yesterday. Was too tired to install it after I finished the lift and I had to run to @HomerTaco's place to get my LCA hardware

Haha i wish. Too many things I want and not enough money... Gonna cool it for a while though while I save for a second vehicle... Only purchases left are wheels and tires... Already have the wheel and tire money just gonna wait til I need the tires to actually buy them... And the wheels will be purchased mid july... Thats the next time I have enough time off to go to Richmond to pick them up!

    Alright, I'm confused...

The guy was showing me the two different spline configurations that I referenced above.

I just pulled my driveshaft to take measurements for them. There aren't any splines on a 4WD Tacoma Drive shaft. Not on the ends anyway. Just the flanges that bolt to the T-case and the rear. I knew this already... Don't know what I was thinking.

I must've missed something. Going to call again tomorrow.

EDIT: I guess the shaft will still have a slip joint in it somewhere. Just no center bearing. Thus the spline options. I wasn't thinking about that.

    I'm getting 1 13/16 here

    image.jpg

And 2 5/8 on all the flange measurements. Although the holes are slightly beveled so it might be a 32nd smaller. I can't tell for sure...

Big thanks to @JLink for helping me get my lift on. Ran in to a couple problems but for the most part it went Smooth. Also we of course forgot to take before measurements. Oh thanks to @Yamaha_TacoR1 for stopping by to lend a hand and do some install of his own.
Before after....Also I think I'll have to do 886 or 887 for the bumper skids and sliders ....
