Thanks! The show is in Kielce. Looks like we'll be about a hundred miles from there, but I would welcome the idea to rent a car while there.

The salt mine and castles sound pretty cool too. I'm mostly interested in historical and night life in their culture.

Rausch creek is an off road park in Pennsylvania. There is a Tacoma gathering there the last weekend in July, you should come! I have never been yet but will be there this year!

Thanks bro. I am looking into a weld on set. They came powdercoated? How much was shipping?

 

$60 for shipping, no they came bare metal because you have to fit them to the truck then weld the gussets and frame plates to the sliders then paint, then weld everything to the frame, then coat frame, it all comes pre cut and ready to weld for the most part

 

Gotcha. That's not a bad deal at all. So once everything is welded on, you will spray it or gonna leave it bare?

 

You need to spray it if you want them to last in the NE. They probably already have some surface rust on them from shipping.

Definitely have to coat it it is bare steel will rust like crazy, same with the places it is welded to on the frame

Yes they are good at all corporate owned good year locations, I'll have the numbers by lunch to see how they did

 

Powder coating still scratches easily when 4000lb is dragging across rocks. Don't waste your money on powder coating any armor IMO. Bed racks, light mounts, etc that don't see abuse are good for powder coating, anything else paint.

 

Agreed. I would hit the sliders with some bed liner spray and call it a day

 

I think I'll do self etching primer, then textured black paint. We'll see

 

Meh I wouldn't mind a powdercoated front or rear bumper as long as you can touch it up still. But for sliders, paint all the way.
