Who here would like to take on a project?? Obviously you need to know how to do it...it is an engine swap for a 93 land cruiser. You will be payed and my friend will find a donor truck to take the motor out of. Please let me know!

x2 The diehard platinum is supposedly a re-branded odyssey battery which are very well spoken of from what I read. I have their biggest marine battery that I use to run tailgating gear off of. Which reminds me I need to get that bitch charged up, 'tis the season!

    Yep.
Note sure if I'll be returning to this shop... he's still working on the truck so I have yet to see the finished work but I can't help but feel I'm being raped.

F+R extended brake lines + system flush $150

Reroute exhaust for skids and run new pipes from where I had it dumped after the muffler out the back $300

The brake job, ok... if he bled them right and the pedal feels good. The exhaust? Having a hard time swallowing that shit. Opinions?

Exhaust seems a bit high bu not too bad. If its quality work I think I'd be ok with it.

Ok, not bad. Soooo much more quiet but still sounds good. I like.

WTF? I explained it perfectly to him and even showed him numerous pictures of other ones. :censored::frusty:

Will this even work with a crawl box?
Going to at least wrap it to keep some of the heat away from the transfer case. Also going to make getting to the prop shaft real interesting.

He did bitch about the brake lines though  Said, "I know why you had us do those fucking lines now. What a PITA"

    Yep.
They might. Everyone else keeps saying they got it done for $100 or less. Although mine did involve more work for the rear.
He does good work, I'm just butthurt it's not the way I wanted it.

    Same place you will.

Saw a couple nice Tacos on Friday, late afternoon/evening, wondering if it was any of you guys. One was a black first gen, very built, going up 206 North through Flanders/Mount Olive. The other was a gray second gen, had a bed cap and a steel bumper in the McDonalds parking lot in Flanders off 206.

Brakes seem on par & exhaust seems OK for what you got. I got quoted $300 just to do the reroute so I said screw that and just got a Doug Thorley Y pipe instead.

Your welds no look so good though and he got all new pipe....who knows

    Bwahahahahahaha

No one got a quality job done in the NE for $100 unless they knew someone. I called and stopped up at almost 10 shops and 1/2 wouldn;t even look at it and the other were at $300 +
