I am eligible because I am military. Im a resident of what ever state I am currently stationed in. I can get instate anything in any state with military orders as long as they offer it.

Also I will not be illegally transporting my PDW I will have a case for it to put it in when I am heading over to the NJ side... Takes 30 seconds to pull over unload and put it in a case.

Main reason I want it is because ive already been approached by some cracked out idiots. Some lady tried to get into my truck driving on germantown ave stopped at a light. Nutcases.

Jackson is like 12 hours north from Moab.

The 32+6 safe from dicks. Got it on Black Friday for like $700 iirc.

I looked at those too. But I don't think stack on are fire rated. And I've heard that if your house is on fire, fire fighters won't enter if you have ammo that's not in a fire proof safe. :notsure:

Ha I had a .38 bullet in my pocket at the trenton airport and luckily realized it right before I hit the security check point. Threw that shit in the trash.

Our ammo is just in a locked room in the basement and some in the garage... If a fire starts steer clear of my pops place...

Most of the time yes... My shotgun will be loaded but no rounds chambered. Will probably have bird shot in it... With a back up of 00 buck.

    Nope.

The whole 12ga racking sound is a bunch of garbage. You're just telling them where you're at.

A dog is a better deterrent.

Teenagers or people just looking for a smash and grab will be turned off by a barking dog. If somebody isn't, you can about guarantee they're armed, and telling an armed attacker where you're at isn't a good idea.

It mirrors the open carry vs conceal carry debate.

    I agree.
But we may be in very different circumstance here. I have two daughters and a wife that I will protect to the ends of the earth and very thin walls in my house. I won't shoot unless I absolutely have to. I have many choices, but shotgun is my choice for close quarters. I'd rather see if the person will leave, than have a confrontation and possibly harm my family, hence the deterring effect that I want. If the dude runs and is still on my property, I'll be happy to take care of him, as long as he is very much out of the line of fire of my family, friends and neighbors.
