 I can't wait till I can get some money together to get them.

If it makes you guys feel any better most of the time I am in meetings I am on my laptop on TW. As long as no one is sitting to close to me anyway. Is it weird that I feel like throughout my life I try just hard enough to get by and I'm relatively successful for a 26 year old? HS? Barely tried, got decent grades. College? Same thing. Career? Browse a fuck ton of forums all day except when crunch time comes I bust ass and get the work done. It makes me wonder if this is how life will continue to be or if it will eventually bite me in the ass.

Yea I think most of us are just trying hard enough to get by. I know I'd be a whole lot more bored everyday if I didn't have a smart phone.

Yeah luckily I have known what I wanted to do career wise since 8th grade. Produced a few websites in high school, got an Associates in Web, got my first job 3 weeks out of college (shitty job and shitty pay and i stayed there way too long but gave me great experience) started doing my bachelors online and then just job hopped till I got to where I am now. The big thing for me was getting into large companies like ADP and Merrill Lynch.

My degree has nothing to do with what I do and while I am not rich I am almost 1/3 done paying for my house, my truck is paid off, and I have about 7 months worth of my salary in an emergency fund + a TON of cash in my 401k/profit sharing. If I wasn't poor at planning my budget the past three years I would be much better off, but alas I'm paying off debt I should of never accrued.

Get into trades work immediately and start looking to get into the civil service while working trades.

I started unloading trucks for a shower door company at 18yo and when I left there 7 years later I ran their entire fabrication shop and my only boss was the plant manager. That whole time I diverted 15% of my pay into my 401k and still partied my ass off. Now at 33yo I head my own department I started from the ground up at a glass company. In life sometimes you have to take two steps backwards to take one forwards - you just need to make sure you can get back ahead and be better off in the end.

I like the ap rear bumper also but cost more plus if you want the hitch, which I do that's extra, I wish the current group buy was for the rear bumper

I honestly wish I didn't go back for my bachelors. I know it is possibly worth it but I got my job at Merrill without it being complete. So far I am seeing it as a $60k investment that I am seeing no returns on yet.

I am looking into playing more with investments. After my recent success with Tesla on my IRA it makes me want to do a little more investing outside of the IRA. Shit even if i can just take a grand or two and double it here and there I would be happy.

That's a good reason to learn it then lol.

Yea I'd say 95% of my posts are from my phone nowadays. Anytime I'm at home I'm too busy working on something to go on my laptop.

Im sure there are a few of us.

    Anyway..
Hunter, try to get into a union. Do you know anyone in the union? Call the locals and ask to set a meeting up with the BA's. Be persistant (We all know you have persistence)

I got into the IBEW when i was 19. At 31, just in my annuity alone, I can roll deep. I have 4 different local vacation funds. ( I work a lot out of my local)

Refrain from these type comments please. I was warned last night for making one very similar. You would think it is harmless but he will stalk you and report you for it. The mods aren't going to take any shit when it comes to these type incidents any longer.

Should be going to college at night! Do it!

Thats how I got my worthless degree LOL
