Three pedals for the fucking win. All my vehicles be manuels too.

 

Quick mock up of rear resi mount. I will take more than 15 minutes to make the real ones, I promise!

 

Had manuals my whole life. Drive trucks for a bit. I agree with Tim. And fuck Jersey traffic with a manual.

 

That too... In NH I lived in a town with a population of 1,000. I used to like manuals too.

 

i cant believe I bought an auto.. only I havent bought had one since I learned to drive. Just didnt know how much off roading Id be doing, and I figured it might be easier in an auto.
It is boring to drive though

 

i guess you got your welder fixed?

 

It is feeding better. But getting a new liner for the gun and a new feed roller.

What would you guys pay for this? I am thinking about going to take a look at it today... it has high mileage but Itd be my DD... i keep telling myself I won't mod it Ill only be swapping the wheels and tires out for the duracraps in my garage but I hope I don't mod it haha. I was thinking I shouldn't pay more than 6k for it out the door.

 

Could get a nice civic or something that gets better gas mileage. I think a high mileage 4Runner is a terrible choice for daily driver since you already have truck. Thought you were buying a Miata and doing a engine swap.

 

That will come with time. But youre right I do need something that gets better milage... i keep looking for Miatas but a clean one for under 4k is hard to find... if It takes long enough I may say fuck it and wait for when my contract is up in 2019 and reenlist and hopefully get a FAT bonus and use that to just buy an actual Corvette haha. I still have the engine in storage though.

Tim if you are auto why bother with a crawl box? If you are regeared and can keep tranny temps down you don't need it.

Yeah, it'll be less important with an auto for sure. I'm thinking the deep gears would still be nice to have though. On declines especially.

You're probably right though. Maybe not worth the $$ for me.

I'll have a couple of years to think it over either way after all the dough I just dropped on this truck...
