Bottom line: if you've armored up your truck you can run blacks at Rausch. I did 13 on 265's back in the day but I had all the skids/sliders/bumpers.
It's not a walk in the park by any means but it will keep you interested.

Yep. I ran harder shit on 265s and the right group than I have on 315s. Just gotta be armored up.

 

I need to get that fucking thing installed. I just don't have the capabilities to cut it at this moment in time. And definitely not before saturday. I will hopefully be there to wheel and maybe camp if other peeps are camping I know you won't be.

 

I did some decent shit with 33s and no lift. Can wait to see how I do this time

Idk how much play the clamshell bushing is supposed to have if any...

@HomerTaco I may need to swing up your way when you have time for you to... dare I say it... ok just to be funny... jiggle my cv's and tell me if something is fucked up... i might paint my tube doors tomorrow and go find some clamp on bicycle mirrors or some shit to put on there while I wait for the mirror kit to come from 4x so I can run the doors tomorrow for shits and giggles

 

Anyone remember what trail that blue/black was that Jason took us down in the torrential downpour?

 

Whatever it was the rain turned it into a black haha! We were on powerline in that rain and came to a really washed out section and all the trucks I was with were totally flexed out... somehow the dude in the BONE STOCK DUNFLOPS and @Arcticelf were the only ones to make it up without haveing to try more than once...

 

Dark, rainy, huge rocks, trees ...it was fun.

 

This was that trail IIRC. Had to take a pic of Ryan's truck next to that rock for scale.

 

I'd wait on the tube doors - I'm pretty much home by 5pm most days if you want me to take a look.

 

With the bushing you should have little slop. With the original bearing you will have quite a bit if slop. Don't worry about it. Just drive it. Mine has been sloppy for last 40k.

 

Why wait on the tube doors? And awesome. Ill let ya know if tomorrow works out for me.

 

But does bind at all? I get a nice binding sound alot of the time when backing into a parking spot and the wheel is cut driver

 

Not that I can tell. Other noises Drowning it out maybe.
