Why won't it fit 35s?

 

I might know someone with a tire machine for sale. Not the balancer though. Ill ask

 

The larger the tires the easier it is. I do tires by hand all the time. In the inside of the wheel you'll notice there is a really deep groove. You have to push the bead down into that groove and then it will be way easier. Once the front bead is off get the back bead started and the wheel will fall pretty much fall out.

 

Then use FIRE to set the bead.....

 

IDK i had a hell of a fucking time getting those passenger tires off this weekend but they were 265/75r16's. I ended up cutting all the way around the tire with a sawzall and angle grinder. But IDK what the fuck I was doing haha

 

Anyone have limit straps up front?
Recommendations? Ones to Avoid?

 

I know how to do it, I've done many with a machine and it's the same thing it'll never come off if you don't get the bead in the drop section but I literally could not do it by hand. I'd love for you to show me your ways and save me some mula tho

 

Yes this or ratchet strap but still on and off the wheel is the hard part

I probably just need another set of hands but I was trying by myself, I don't have a big enough ass to get it over the lip. Next time I'll ask @HolyHandGrenade for help

 

I've never successfully mounted or Dismounted a tire from a car or truck tire, but I do it for motorcycle tires regularly.

You can get real big zip ties and after you break the head, slip the. Though and pull them tight to squeeze the tire beads together so one side can fit in the drop section. There's videos on YouTube of it being done.

And for balancing, I use dyna beads. Never need to balance your wheels again. Innovativebalancing.com or something

 

Nope 1man job.stand on the bead,use your feet to push the bead down in the grove,pry bar number one (straight on works best) flip bead over rim,leave pry bar (1)in there use pry bar(2) acouple inches away remove (pb1) and repeat.Don't try to take too much at one time.I used to fight with big truck tires,until i watched a guy in his 60's and weigh 125lbs do tractor trailer tires like it was childs play.LUBE.lube is your friend.

Yea I did exactly that. I couldn't get the bead even close to the lip lol I'll try again this weekend, maybe I'll take a video for everyone's amusement ha

 

Who's actually personally put a 35 on a 17" wheel by hand?

 

I've done plenty of bike tires, never been able to get a car or truck one either by hand
