well I've had my truck almost a year now. One true wheeling trip and a few others. I want that lift though. Suspension is OK but at 175k it's soft and worn.

But you're somewhat of an inspiration for me.

I took me 3 years of ownership and a trip with you guys to finally get my wheeling bug. So save and buy good parts that will last a while my 2cents. @cynicalrider is my inspiration also, maybe is just a silver taco thing :D haha

I'd be down to host a BBQ. As long as I had a decent count of who is coming and everyone didn't back out last minute and leave me with 400lbs of food.

So I noticed when I pulled into my job parking lot before that the 265s with a 3" lift look tiny well I guess it's time to move up on tire size

Ha thanks guys. Had a ton of inspiration from a ton of builds on here to get where I am today including 45acp, mrbeggins, boxrocket, 01tacoma, ToyRyd04, Jberry to name a few. All are sold or SAS'd at this point haha

Guys I'm trying to understand how this goes. this plate goes bolted to the frame and the legs go welded into the plate? is this correct?

What brand bolt ons? Those look like you have to do quite a bit of drilling in your frame. But yes, that's the way it would go.

Are they 4x weld on or bolt on? Those look like the weld on plates

The weld ons you weld that plate to the legs with the gusset attached, then you clamp those to the truck and line up the rest of the slider to get the angle your looking for, and tac it in place. I'll try to find the right up or photos.

Is that for a rock slider ? If so it usually is welded the holes are so you throw a weld inside also. Not just around the plate. Makes it stronger and distributes the weight better. And then you weld you rock slider onto the plate and a gusset. I was told it's not a good idea to weld a gusset at 12oclock. It can be like a soda can top and puncture through if landed hard. They recommend 2 gussets at 10 and 2.

But If you want , yes you can make them bolt on. But it's little difficult.
